CODAA, in collaboration with Pageno Music Vocal Training Center, introduces a collection of Vocal Training & Exam Preparation features designed to help learners develop their musical skills, strengthen their music theory knowledge, and prepare for vocal music entrance examinations.
These features combine CODAA's audio analysis technology with Pageno Music's teaching methods and specialized curriculum, allowing users to practice independently on their personal devices.
From the Home screen of the CODAA app, find and select the Pageno Music feature group.
Here, users can access four main categories:
This feature supports vocal development through pitch-based exercises and voice analysis technology, helping users monitor their vocal performance.
Practice vocal exercises with different patterns and pitches.
Analyze vocal pitch during practice sessions.
Measure vocal range and identify vocal limits.
Monitor pitch control and vocal stability.
These features help develop listening, memorization, and musical reproduction skills, which are essential for music education and vocal entrance examinations.
Ear Training: Practice listening to, memorizing, and reproducing musical notes, intervals, and melodies.
Rhythm Training: Practice recognizing, memorizing, and performing rhythmic patterns.
Access exercises at different difficulty levels to gradually improve musical skills.
These features help users develop their ability to read, recognize, and perform musical notation.
Music Transcription: Practice transcribing musical notes and rhythms based on provided audio.
Sight-Singing: Practice reading and singing musical notes from displayed sheet music.
Develop familiarity with melodic structures, note durations, and musical pitches.
The Music Theory feature helps users review, reinforce, and assess their theoretical knowledge through multiple-choice exercises based on the Pageno Music curriculum.
The content is currently organized into five chapters:
1. Sound and Musical Notation: Fundamental concepts of sound, musical notes, and notation systems.
2. Meter: Concepts related to meter, beats, and the organization of musical durations.
3. Intervals: Recognition, classification, and identification of musical intervals.
4. Modes: The structure, characteristics, and identification of musical modes.
5. Key Identification: Applying music theory knowledge to recognize and determine the key of a musical composition.
Note: The Music Theory feature currently supports Vietnamese only. Its content and terminology follow the Pageno Music curriculum, specifically designed to support music education and vocal entrance examination preparation in Vietnam.
Depending on individual learning objectives, users can select one or combine several feature groups.
For beginners, combining vocal training, ear training, and fundamental music theory can help establish a solid musical foundation.
For learners preparing for vocal music entrance examinations, Ear Training – Rhythm Training, Music Transcription – Sight-Singing, and Music Theory can support the review and practice of essential examination subjects.
CODAA's tools are designed to support independent practice and self-assessment. They are not intended to completely replace professional instruction and feedback from qualified music teachers.
To help users become familiar with the tools and make the most of their capabilities, CODAA provides separate guides for each feature group:
How to Use Vocal Training – Vocal Range Analysis.
How to Use Ear Training – Rhythm Training.
How to Use Music Transcription – Sight-Singing.
How to Use Music Theory.
Users can refer to the corresponding guides to learn how to configure exercises, complete practice sessions, and use the available tools within each feature.
